What is Visier Studio Assistant?

Studio Assistant is the latest addition to Visier’s contextual AI for its analytics platform, purpose-built to help admins and data teams get the right answer at the right moment. Trained on Visier’s documentation and Visier University course content, it gives you answers to questions, best practices, and guidance without ever leaving your workspace.

Ask your question in plain language and get a clear, actionable response. No tab switching. No hunting through search results. Just the information you need, when you need it.

What you can do with Visier Studio Assistant

Studio Assistant is designed to meet you where you are in your workflow, whether you’re experienced or still learning the ropes. Here’s what it brings to your day-to-day work in Studio.

Ask questions in plain language.

Wondering how to configure concepts, schedule a data job, or understand what a data version is? Just ask. Studio Assistant provides clear, step-by-step instructions you can follow immediately. It also includes reference links so you can dive deeper into the documentation when needed.

Get help writing and understanding formulas.

Working with Visier’s formula languages (Visier Extraction, Formula, and Business Rules Languages) can be complex, especially when you're building something new. With Studio Assistant, you can describe what you’re trying to accomplish in natural language, and it will translate your intent into a Visier formula. 

You can also use the Explain button on any formula page and Studio Assistant will give you a simple explanation of what a formula does, or what an error message means and how to fix it.

Navigate Studio faster with in-app Actions.

When Studio Assistant provides an answer, it can also surface relevant Actions that link directly to the right page in Studio. Instead of searching for where to go next, one click takes you there.

Get model-aware, tailored guidance.

Studio Assistant is aware of your tenant’s subjects and events. So the help it provides is tailored to your specific environment and use cases rather than generic instructions.

Pick up where you left off.

Studio Assistant retains context within a chat session, so you can ask follow-up questions without repeating yourself. And if you sign out and come back later, you can restore your last conversation and continue right where you left off.

Improve the experience with feedback.

Every response includes thumbs-up and thumbs-down options. Your feedback helps Studio Assistant improve over time, so it gets better the more your team uses it.
