And now, onto the winner details...

AbbVie

Workforce AI Innovation Award

AbbVie's People Analytics team, led by Mike Canterino, set out to answer a question most organizations haven't thought to ask: what's the real difference between a general-purpose AI and one built specifically for workforce data?

To find out, they ran a rigorous internal benchmark, pitting Vee, Visier Workforce AI's agent, against their corporate LLM. The test wasn't about features. It was about what happens when AI already knows your data. Where the corporate LLM required users to manually supply turnover rates, business unit context, and retention goals before it could offer anything useful, Vee arrived with that context built in.

One prompt — "This leader wants to reduce turnover; build a 30-60-90 day plan" — produced a comprehensive, data-grounded retention strategy in seconds.

Vee identified at-risk cohorts, recommended stay interviews, and automated pulse checks without manual data input. The results earned high-level sponsorship from both the CHRO and CTO, who now position Vee as the organization's primary strategic advisor for HR.

Newell Brands

Rookie of the Year Award

Newell Brands didn't ease into Visier Workforce AI. They launched in early 2025 with a focused 25-person HRBP pilot and within a year had rolled the platform out to the C-suite, Finance, and the entire HR leadership, resulting in a 10x growth in adoption  in 12 months.

The foundation of that growth was solving a real business problem.

By layering their existing HRIS data into a single unified view, Newell replaced a fragmented data environment with self-service analytics that could surface actual drivers behind workforce trends.

The People Analytics team now delivers monthly enterprise-wide analysis on headcount, movement, and cost directly to the CEO and CFO.

What sets Newell apart as a rookie is the commitment to community alongside that internal momentum. Catherine Ullman presented at the Atlanta People Analytics Meetup, and Jack Trewin served as a panelist at Outsmart Local Brooklyn. Newell didn't wait to become experts before showing up.

Providence Health & Services

Best Use of Extend Award

Providence's six-person Workforce Insights team has spent the past year turning Visier People® Extend into an enterprise intelligence platform spanning compensation, compliance, position management, survey data, learning, and strategic workforce planning.

The scope of what they've built is wide.

Providence automated the ingestion of external salary and sign-on bonus data from their systems directly into Visier Workforce AI, giving Operations and Talent Acquisition leaders real-time market comparisons that inform millions in annual labor spend decisions.

Plus, custom PTO accrual metrics now reproduce state-specific regulatory logic inside Visier Workforce AI, closing a compliance visibility gap for hundreds of leaders. And a rebuilt position management framework surfaced stalled approvals, triggered a cleanup of over 30,000 inactive positions, and reduced budget risk across the organization.

Taken together, the work has shifted Providence's workforce intelligence from an HR function into a direct driver of operational and financial performance.

Wärtsilä

Strategic Partnership Award

Wärtsilä's approach to Visier Workforce AI started with a clear philosophy: Workforce data belongs to the whole organization, not just HR. From the start, the team positioned Visier Workforce AI as a platform for business leaders and line managers, not an HR tool.

That positioning got an early test when the CFO personally pushed to have his leadership team included in the first rollout group.

The reason was practical: an upcoming restructuring required fast, scalable visibility into workforce costs by cost category.

Visier delivered.

Within months, the Finance organization used that visibility to implement FTE control measures that reversed a growing headcount trend and generated over €1 million in annual run rate cost avoidance.

By the end of 2025, 100% of senior leaders across the Board of Management minus three layers had been upskilled to use data in decision-making, alongside the entire HR community.

Unisys

Data Democratization Award

Unisys had a workforce cost visibility problem. With payroll data scattered across 34 countries in multiple currencies, Finance and Operations leaders had no reliable way to see or act on what the workforce was actually costing the business.

Consolidating that landscape into a centralized Actual Cost of Workforce model inside Visier Workforce AI gave Finance and Operations leaders real-time intelligence they could act on without routing every question through HR.

Finance teams moved from manual reporting to active cost management, targeting $5 to $8 million in projected annual savings by rationalizing overtime and supplemental pay, while Operations leaders used the same visibility to drive a 32.5% reduction in contingent workers in 2025, cutting avoidable fees and tightening the global workforce mix.

The broader access to shared data also strengthened management accountability across the organization, contributing to a 1.1% drop in voluntary turnover.

Eaton

Business Impact Excellence Award

Before the Talent Intelligence Platform (TIP), Eaton's analytics environment was logging 130+ incidents, more than 18 days of outage, and over 550 lost productivity days annually, while HR teams manually produced 100+ reports each month. Workforce decisions weren't being made so much as delayed.

Internally branded and built on Visier Workforce AI, TIP replaced that environment with a governed, near-real-time decision infrastructure that unified data from HRMS, recruiting, performance, promotions, succession, and employee movement systems into a single intelligence layer.

  • $1.5 million in productivity gains and ~$50,000 in annual IT savings from retiring legacy tools.

  • 99% reduction in platform downtime, restoring executive confidence during critical planning periods.

  • 3,000+ self-service analyses completed by 11,000+ managers globally across hiring, succession, attrition, and pay equity.

With an 80%+ return rate, TIP has become embedded in how Eaton actually runs, recognized at year end as one of the company's top four Continuous Improvement initiatives in 2025.

ServiceTitan

Content Excellence Award

One of the greatest drivers of people analytics adoption is well-designed content. Visier's annual Customer Guidebook Competition challenges customers to define what great people analytics content looks like.

This year's outstanding winner is ServiceTitan.

In the guidebook competition, Visier evaluated enterprise customer entries submitted between January and March based on five criteria: usage, diversity of personas consuming data, visual appeal, actionable information, and business impact.

The Vizzies exist because innovation in people analytics deserves to be celebrated—and this year's winners gave us plenty to celebrate. From a rookie year that redefined what fast adoption looks like, to a finance partnership that generated €1 million in cost avoidance within months, to an AI benchmark that changed how one organization thinks about workforce strategy entirely: congratulations to all seven winners.

The whole community is better for the work you're doing.
