Visier Benchmarks Offer Fortune 2000 Unmatched New Insights into Workforce Performance
SAN JOSE, Calif. and VANCOUVER, October 9, 2017 – Visier, developer of Visier Workforce Intelligence, the leading people strategy platform, today announced Visier Benchmarks, a new capability that will allow customers to easily compare data about their own workforce to confidentially sourced benchmark data from Visier customers.
“Every organization wants to compare their results to accurate, complete, and timely data on their peers and competitors,” says Dave Weisbeck, Chief Strategy Officer, Visier. “Yet–until now– the benchmarks available to employers have been based on self-reported surveys that are compiled once a year, meaning they are incomplete, inaccurate, and out of date. With Visier Benchmarks, companies are able to access timely and relevant comparison data.”
Included as part of the Visier Workforce Intelligence solution, Visier Benchmarks will use data that is sourced directly from Visier customers. Visier Benchmarks complements government-published measures such as those from the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics—also available directly within Visier—by adding even more relevant context and timeliness.
Designed for the Speed of Business Decisions
Visier Benchmarks will be available on demand and include workforce metrics the business cares most about, such as resignation and promotion rates, with a level of detail that allows actionable insights where it matters. For instance, users will be able to see benchmarks by performance groups, tenure ranges, manager status, age, diversity, region, and industry. Because Visier Benchmark data is generated automatically from integrating data across Visier customers, users will have real-time access to up-to-date benchmarks.
Data from Peers
Visier Benchmarks data comes from large organizations—ranging from thousands to hundreds of thousands of employees across a span of industries—making them more relevant comparison points for large employers than government data, which can come from organizations with as few as 50 employees.
Visier Benchmarks includes data for all employees—instead of a self-selected sample of respondents that can lead to biased results. Because workforce information is collected and standardized directly from systems of record, Visier Benchmarks are more reliable than surveys that rely on subjective self-reports.
