People managers are demanding generative AI tools to make their jobs easier. 87% of managers say that genAI tools can improve their roles by providing more insights into their employees and freeing up time for planning and leadership. The question is not *if* HR can deliver these tools, it's *when*.
We surveyed 400 full-time people managers to understand their current access to people analytics and the potential for AI-powered data democratization to enhance their effectiveness. The findings revealed a high level of enthusiasm among managers for the productivity-boosting and data-simplifying capabilities of generative AI, signaling an immediate opportunity for CHROs to invest in AI tools for workforce insights.
