Visier Appoints Leading Business Analytics Industry Executive as Chief Customer Officer
Vancouver, BC |
Former Tableau Software Senior Vice President of Customer Solutions Nigel Stoodley to lead Visier’s global customer solutions team and efforts to transform the way business intelligence and analytics solutions are delivered
Visier, developer of Visier People®, the leading people strategy platform, today announced the appointment of Nigel Stoodley, as the Chief Customer Officer. Nigel joins the company from Tableau Software where he led the company’s customer solutions division.
“Achieving greater business performance through the use of analytics isn’t about the data. Knowing your business and answering the right questions with credible and accurate information shape the business strategy and lead to better business outcomes,” says John Schwarz, Visier Chief Executive Officer and Founder. “Nigel brings decades of experience building teams that focus on customer success in the business intelligence industry, and will be instrumental to getting our customers’ people and data ready for a deep and instantly valuable Visier deployment as our business scales.”
Instead of the traditional enterprise software business model, which has organizations being continually hit by an avalanche of statements of work and development costs, and has resulted in industry-wide business intelligence services costs outpacing licensing fees eight to one, Visier has turned this model upside down with a new approach to business analytics that allows businesses to subscribe to a complete, pre-built solution — with all data management included — for a fixed and predictable fee.
“Visier’s unique services model, which focuses on delivering answers instantaneously and iteratively without the need of IT specialists, is delivering massive value to its customers,” said Nigel Stoodley. “I’m thrilled to be joining the Visier executive team and to be leading the charge in driving project predictability and maximizing customer value by reinventing the way business analytics solutions are delivered and implemented by organizations around the world.”

The addition of Nigel is an important milestone in a major growth year for Visier. More recently, Visier ranked in the top third on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies in North America.
Visier’s customers include the world’s most widely recognized brands, across a broad range of industries: today more than 115 large enterprises have selected Visier, including many Global 2000 and Fortune 500 leaders.
