Visier Announces Winners of the Annual ‘Vizzie’ Awards

Awards celebrate outstanding achievement in people analytics and workforce planning

Visier, the globally recognized leader in people analytics and planning, celebrated the Vizzie Awards in San Francisco last night, with 15 recipients being awarded Vizzies in recognition of their excellence in people analytics and workforce planning, across a range of areas. “The Vizzies are our way of recognizing the people and organizations who are on the forefront of the growing people analytics movement,” said Nigel Stoodley, Chief Customer Officer of Visier. “We are honored to work with so many organizations that share our vision of putting the power of analytical decision-making in the hands of people throughout their companies, enabling them to transform their people strategies and drive overall business results. Vizzie award winners represent innovators as well as those who have achieved the most value out of their people and analytics strategies through meaningful business performance across multiple departments.” Visier handed out the awards during the special Vizzies event, held during the annual Visier Outsmart conference, with over 400 attendees.   People Analytics Trailblazer Awarded to a team that has engaged in work, leveraging the Visier solution to deliver impact and achieve impressive HR and business results.

  • Winner: Dr. Gary Russo, Providence St. Joseph Health

  Workforce Planning Trailblazer Awarded in recognition of thought leadership in the space of data-driven workforce planning.

  • Winner: Rob Major, Ascension

  Luminary Awarded to an individual or team who has partnered with Visier in every sense — whether in data onboarding, driving adoption, or promoting data driven decision-making -- inspiring new processes, capabilities, and ideas.

  • Winner: Workforce Intelligence Team, Dignity Health

  Impact Awarded to a team that has engaged in work, leveraging the Visier solution to deliver impact and achieve impressive HR and business results.

  • Winners: TIE

    • HR Strategy & Planning Team, TIAA

    • Workforce Planning & Analytics Team, Ascension

  Data Journalist Awarded to an individual or team that has excelled in the area of data-driven storytelling, creating impact and supporting the development of a data-driven culture within their greater organization.

  • Winner: Adam McKinnon and Mircea Glavici, representing the People Analytics and Organization Development team, Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, including Alexis Saussinan, Leandra Griep, and Marcel Krauskopf

  Maverick Awarded to an individual or team that has demonstrated creativity and fearlessness in breaking open a process to enable a data-driven approach to decision making and/or planning.

  • Winner: Liz Jurcik, Providence St. Joseph Health

  Alchemist Awarded to a team that demonstrates a completeness of vision in the establishment of people analytics as a "way of doing business" across its organization.

  • Winner: Sam Thayer and the Analytics and Technology Team, Compass Group USA

  First Movers Awarded to individuals or teams that demonstrate leadership in the adoption of analytics across HR centers of excellence.

  • Winner: TIE

    • Jennifer Rogers, representing the Learning and Performance team at Anglo American, including Dominic Podmore and Camilo Gonzalez

    • People Analytics Team, Pitney Bowes

  Leadership in D&I Awarded to an individual or team that is leading in the application of analytics to move the needle with Diversity and Inclusion.

  • Winner: Global Processes and Analytics Team, Ingersoll Rand

  Data Wrangler of the Year Awarded to a team that stuck with it, working with incredibly difficult and/or large data sets to extract valuable insights and results.

  • Winner: Dapo Olofinjana, Rackspace

  Partner of the Year Awarded to an individual or team who has partnered with Visier in every sense-- whether in data onboarding, driving adoption, or promotion data driven decision-making.

  • Winner: Dave Wallis, Insperity
