Visier Launches ‘Women in Leadership Speaker Series’ Across Multiple Cities to Foster a Community for Women Leaders of Tomorrow
Featuring inspirational career stories shared by top women executives, the Visier Women in Leadership Speaker Series will provide powerful career advice including strategies to address the “Manager Divide”
SAN JOSE, CA and VANCOUVER, BC – August 21, 2018 – To inspire women leaders of tomorrow, Visier, the recognized leader in people analytics and planning, is launching a multi-city Women in Leadership Speaker Series, kicking off with events in Charlotte, Toronto, and Houston. The luncheon events will feature women executive leaders who will share inspirational career stories as well as lessons learned on their path to success.
A leading voice on the issue of gender equity, Visier is launching this speaker series to jump-start industry-level conversations and share smart strategies to address the continuing inequalities in pay and management roles uncovered in the Visier Insights: Gender Equity report. A key report finding – the Manager Divide – clearly linked an underrepresentation of women in manager positions at key points in their careers to a widening of the gender wage gap. The report also concluded that eliminating the Manager Divide would cut the gender wage gap by nearly one third.
