Visier Announces 2026 Vizzie Award Winners at Outsmart Conference in Palm Springs

Vancouver, BC |

Vancouver, BC and PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – April 28, 2026  – Visier, the global leader in Workforce Intelligence, powering confident business decisions through Visier Workforce AI, announced the winners of the 2026 Vizzie Awards at its annual Outsmart conference. The awards recognize organizations that are transforming workforce intelligence into real business impact, making the vital shift from simplifying how data is gathered and reviewed, to providing actionable guidance that drives better business decisions.

“These teams represent the very best of what’s possible when organizations commit to data-driven workforce strategy,” said Ryan Wong, CEO and founder at Visier. “The Vizzie Awards celebrate not just innovation, but measurable results that change how businesses operate. We are honoring the HR teams that are truly undertaking workforce transformation at the speed of AI.”

Winners were announced across these seven categories:

Workforce AI Innovation Award

🏆 Winner: AbbVie

AbbVie redefined what AI-powered workforce intelligence looks like in practice. By running a direct comparison between Vee and their internal large language model, they demonstrated that organizational context is the differentiator. Using a single prompt, their team generated a complete 30-60-90 day retention plan grounded in live workforce data — and then operationalized it with executive sponsorship to drive targeted action on at-risk talent.

Finalists:

  • Sanofi

  • Ascension Health

Rookie of the Year Award

🏆 Winner: Newell Brands

In their first year on Visier, Newell Brands grew platform adoption tenfold and brought workforce insights directly into conversations with the CEO and CFO. By unifying fragmented systems into a single trusted view of their workforce, they identified the key drivers of attrition and took targeted action.

Finalists:

  • Land O’Lakes

  • Edwards Lifesciences

Best Use of Extend Award

🏆 Winner: Providence Health & Services

Providence Health & Services integrated more than a dozen data sources including workforce, operational, and financial, all into a unified system of insight. They also tackled deep structural complexity, cleaning up tens of thousands of positions to reduce organizational risk.

Finalists:

  • eBay

  • Standard Life

Strategic Partnership Award

🏆 Winner: Wärtsilä

Finalists:

  • Eaton Corporation

  • DaVita

Data Democratization Award

🏆 Winner: Unisys Corporation

Unisys unified fragmented workforce data spanning 34 countries, multiple systems, and disparate currencies into a single source of truth. Then they made it actionable at every level of the business. Finance teams gained tighter labor cost management, operations teams reduced reliance on contingent labor, and the result is millions in projected savings alongside a new culture of data-driven accountability.

Finalists:

  • Newell Brands

  • KeyBank

Business Impact Excellence Award

🏆 Winner: Eaton Corporation

Eaton’s results were both broad and deep. By eliminating manual processes and modernizing core systems, they achieved millions in productivity gains and engaged more than 11,000 managers on the platform using workforce data to guide hiring, succession planning, and day-to-day decisions. They also restored near-complete system reliability during critical planning periods, embedding workforce intelligence into how the business runs.
