CSA STAR Program
In promoting transparency and assurance, the CSA Security Trust Assurance and Risk (STAR) Program provides organizations a platform to assess and validate the security competencies of their cloud-service providers’ internal environment. The program is supported by an open certification framework, where each certification level (STAR Level 1, 2, 3) is based on the type and frequency of audit an organization undertakes.
Having completed the CSA Consensus Assessments Initiative Questionnaire (CAIQ), Visier has successfully achieved and currently maintains the STAR Level 1 status.
Widely used by organizations across the globe, the CSA CAIQ enables prospects and customers to evaluate an organization’s security practices and controls. The CSA CAIQ is also based on the CSA Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM), a meta-framework that allows prospects and customers to further benchmark and map an organization’s practices against internationally recognized frameworks and regulations, such as ISO/IEC 27001, COBIT 5, US NIST, and GDPR, among many others.
To help our prospects and customers evaluate the alignment of our internal controls and practices against such frameworks and regulations, we make our responses to the CAIQ publicly available on the CSA STAR Registry. You can view our responses by visiting the registry here.
