Jimmy Zhang is the Head of People Strategy and Analytics at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. In that role, Jim built a department that transformed the global mindset and re-engineered the process for strategic workforce planning resulting in significant increases in global workforce productivity. He also built and led the configuration of the Visier platform, implementing Workforce Analytics and Workforce Planning. Before Celgene, Jim led global talent acquisition and talent management functions for Merck KGaA / Schering-Plough, Pfizer, Ernst & Young Consulting and Andersen Consulting.
