Dan Hilling Smith is the Vice President of People Strategy, Analytics and Technology at PayPal. In this role, Dan leads the Workforce Strategy, People Analytics, Business Intelligence and People Technology teams. This is a unique function that bring together global people strategy, data and systems in order to drive business outcomes. Everything from Workday to Regression Models, from Workforce Geo Strategy to Executive Dashboards. Prior to PayPal Dan was the Vice President of People Strategy and Analytics at Bloomberg LP where he worked on similar challenges across a diverse global media, financial and technology organization. Earlier in his career Dan was the Director of Workforce Strategy, Analytics and Planning at Hewlett Packard and a management consultant for CapGemini and Deloitte. He is a corporate leader with extensive experience in driving business growth and performance with expertise in state-of-the-art people analytics methodologies, initiatives and tools.
