Metrics

A metric is a value that is computed from the Subject and Events for a particular group of entities in a particular time frame. An example of a metric is "Turnover Rate."

Active Goal Success RateThe rate at which active goals are successfully completed at the end of the period.
Active Goals CompletedThe number of active goals that are completed at the end of the period.
Active Goals EditedThe number of active goals that have changed at the end of the period.
Active Goals per EmployeeThe average number of active goals per employee at the end of the period.
Active Goals per Employee with GoalsThe average number of active goals per employee with goals at the end of the period.
Average Active Goal ProgressThe average progress of all active goals at the end of the period.
Edited Goal RatioThe percentage of active goals that have changed with a particular attribute at the end of the period.
Edited Goals per Employee with Active GoalsThe number of active goals that have changed per employee with active goals at the end of the period.
Employees with Active GoalsThe number of employees with active goals at the end of the period.

Dimensions

A dimension is created from a concept or property and contains all the potential values. It is then used to allow filtering and grouping of the content. Dimensions can be hierarchical. An example of a dimension is "Generation" which groups employees by the year of their birth.

Goal StatusThe status of the goal (e.g., on track, off track, or completed).
Goal TargetThe fiscal year that the goal is targeting.
Goal TypeThe type of goal (e.g., business or development goal).

Concepts

Visier employs a large range of analytical concepts, these define expected and desired analytical objects. Each concept allows configuration so that the concept can be employed by you. An example of a concept is "Involuntary Turnover" which allows you to define the types of turnover that are to be considered as involuntary.

Subjects

Subjects are entities that evolve and change. They have properties and changes to those properties are captured over time. An example of a subject is "Employee."
