An analysis is a document that describes a collection of analytical content to analyze and understand a particular use case. While you can generate your own Analysis, each Visier application is delivered with a set of standard analyses.

A metric is a value that is computed from the Subject and Events for a particular group of entities in a particular time frame. An example of a metric is "Turnover Rate."

Average Calendar Entry Duration | The average duration of calendar invites, in hours, during the period. |
Average Calendar Event Attendance Duration | The average duration of attendance, in hours, at calendar invites during the period. |
Calendar Duration per Attendee | The average amount of time, in hours, that attendees spent at calendar invites during the period. |
Calendar Duration per Day | The average amount of time, in hours, that attendees spent at calendar invites per working day during the period. |
Calendar Duration per Employee | The average amount of time, in hours, that active employees spent at calendar invites during the period. |
Calendar Entries | The total number of calendar invites during the period. |

A dimension is created from a concept or property and contains all the potential values. It is then used to allow filtering and grouping of the content. Dimensions can be hierarchical. An example of a dimension is "Generation" which groups employees by the year of their birth.

Calendar Event Type | The classification of the calendar invite. For example, Focus Time or Out of Office. |
Calendar Status | The current status of the calendar invite. For example, confirmed or canceled. |
Calendar Title | The name or subject of the calendar invite. |
Calendar Visibility | A calendar invite that is visible or not visible to other users. The visibility setting determines if the details of a calendar invite are shown, and it helps manage privacy and transparency across shared calendars. |
Optional | A calendar invite that is optional for the attendee. |
Recurrence Frequency | The frequency of the recurring calendar invite. For example, daily, weekly, or monthly. |
Resource | A calendar invite that has a resource, such as a meeting room or Zoom link. |
Response Status | The current response status of the attendee. For example, accepted or declined. |
Self | Whether or not the attendee is the current user. |
Visier employs a large range of analytical concepts, these define expected and desired analytical objects. Each concept allows configuration so that the concept can be employed by you. An example of a concept is "Involuntary Turnover" which allows you to define the types of turnover that are to be considered as involuntary.

Cancelled Status | A calendar invite that has been canceled. |
Confirmed Status | A calendar invite that has been confirmed. |
External Attendee | An attendee who is not an employee of the organization and who attended the calendar invite. |
External Meeting | A calendar invite that has at least one external attendee. |
Focus Time | A calendar invite that is focus time. "Focus Time" is a calendar event type designed to help users block off dedicated, uninterrupted time for deep, focused work. |
Internal Attendee | An attendee who is an active employee of the organization and who attended the calendar invite. |
Internal Meeting | A calendar invite with only internal employees in attendance. |
Invitation Accepted | A calendar invite that has been accepted by the attendee. |
Meeting | A calendar invite that is a meeting or appointment. |
Not Recurring | A calendar invite that does not repeat on a periodic basis. |
Not Resource | A calendar invite that does not have a resource, such as a meeting room or Zoom link. |
Out of Office | A calendar invite that is out of office. "Out of Office" is a calendar event that indicates unavailability due to vacation or leave. It helps manage visibility and communication during absence. |
Recurring | A calendar invite that repeats on a periodic basis. |
Subjects are entities that evolve and change. They have properties and changes to those properties are captured over time. An example of a subject is "Employee."

Calendar Participant | The intermediate subject containing information about employees creating, organizing, and attending calendar invites. |
Employee | Current employees of the organization. |
Events are records that occur at a specific point in time and do not change after they have occurred. An example of an event is an interview.
