Visier is a fast-growing SaaS company focusing on developing BI analytics software for applied Big Data Cloud Technology – how cool is that ?!

Founded by leaders of the business intelligence industry, we have about 200 employees across our Vancouver and San Jose offices.

We are growing rapidly and this is where you come into place – we need to fill all of those roles.

We are seeking a results-driven recruiter to join our fabulous Talent Acquisition team. This position is a 12 month contract initially with good potential to move to a permanent role thereafter.

Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will primarily focus on technical recruitment for our Vancouver office and sourcing for sales roles across the US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with our Talent Acquisition team to deliver a strong pipeline enabling Visier to realize our exponential growth.
  • Proactively source high quality passive candidates, leverage your network, utilize creative sourcing strategies, and progress candidates through the interview process
  • Ensure that sourcing strategies consistently attract and retain top talent in the market, at all levels
  • Creatively build a pipeline of candidates and grow Visier’s brand awareness
  • Maintain best-in-class recruitment processes that ensure an outstanding candidate experience and increase customer satisfaction
  • Work collaborative with other recruiters and Hiring Managers

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of diverse recruiting experience in a progressive, fast-paced technical environment
  • Experience in both agency and in house roles in an asset
  • Possess a sixth sense about people, and place great value on identifying long term fit with an organization.
  • You prefer to headhunt rather than wait for someone to apply and you are a LinkedIn Recruiter super-user.
  • Understand and appreciate the terms ‘employment branding’ and ‘employee value proposition’.
  • Outstanding technical aptitude and strong understanding of social recruitment tools
  • Sound business acumen, judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to succeed in an ever changing competitive labour market
  • Finally, a great sense of humour, team-oriented, positive outlook, and relentless work ethic
