Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist – Vancouver, Canada

Visier is a fast-growing SaaS company focusing on developing BI analytics software for applied Big Data Cloud Technology – how cool is that ?!

Founded by leaders of the business intelligence industry, we have about 200 employees across our Vancouver and San Jose offices.

We are growing rapidly and this is where you come into place – we need to fill all of those roles.

We are seeking a results-driven sourcing specialist to join our fabulous Talent Acquisition team. This position is a 6 month contract initially with good potential to move to a permanent role thereafter.


About the Role

  • You will partner with the Recruitment Team to build effective sourcing approaches for either technical roles (e.g. Software Developers, DevOps,..) or corporate roles ( e.g. Sales, Marketing, Customer Success,..)
  • You are passionate about creative ways to find talent, thrive in a fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, and have fun to get the job done
  • This position can either be based out of our Vancouver office or be done remotely

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of corporate and/or search firm sourcing/ recruiting experience with a focus on passive candidate generation
  • Experience in building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive internet research and social media outreach campaigns
  • Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships,
  • continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
