Visier is looking to hire a Automation QA Developer to join our rapidly growing software development team. We are looking for a motivated, technical, software test engineer who is passionate about testing software and cares about the quality of our products. Candidates should have experience in testing software products and they should have hands-on experience with multiple testing activities including but not limited to functional, regression and automated testing.



What you'll be doing...

  • Maintain test automation framework and scripts for backend, frontend and mobile apps
  • Write test automation scripts based on test cases
  • Log defects with clear reproduction steps and detail defect artifacts in defect tracking system
  • Coordinate and participate in feature requirements review for testability, including writing and review of automation and manual test plans
  • Work closely with developers to assist in debugging, testing, and development of tools to help identify defects
  • Available to help troubleshoot critical customer issues, including reproducing issues,  analyzing application logs, or clarifying intended feature functionality
  • Perform automated and manual testing, including regression testing for each release cycle to ensure software meets business and security requirements
  • Perform SQL queries to validate data correctness

What you should bring to the table...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field 

  • Solid experience with automation and manual testing 
  • A good understanding of different software testing techniques and when to apply them
  • Self-starter and quick learner with excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skill
  • Strong Java, JavaScript or Scala development skills in testing and debugging software 

  • Experience with using Selenium, Appium, and REST API test framework, particularly ScalaTest is a plus
  • Knowledge of Cloud computing concepts
  • Experience with Continuous Integration Systems (Jenkin, TeamCity…)
  • Deep commitment and passionate about maintaining quality
  • Strong sense of personal accountability; contributes beyond job role and responsibilities
