Visier, the leading provider of SaaS based People Analytics, seeks an experienced Senior Director of Web strategy and digital marketing to build all aspects of our global website experience and support our aggressive growth strategy as we change the face of business decision-making for HR and other lines of business. Visier makes it easy for business leaders to use people analytics to achieve measurable business outcomes.  As Senior Director of Web Strategy and Digital Marketing you will join the marketing leadership team with responsibility for the global web experience supporting all stages of the customer lifecycle across all markets, distribution channels and audiences including: direct, indirect, enterprise, small business customers, partners and talent acquisition.

Reporting to the CMO, the Senior Director of Web Strategy and Digital Marketing is a brand advocate with a passion for creating web strategies that pair significant new name customer acquisition with a world class customer experience. She or he will be responsible for managing the development, growth, strategic direction and operation of Visier’s global B2B websites and digital presence.  The successful candidate thrives in fast paced environments and has a reputation for inspiring a culture of innovation, teamwork, transparency, collaboration and shared success.

What you'll be doing...

  • Define and execute a comprehensive website strategy, web information/content architecture, and digital marketing platform including website, related technology and integrations, personalization, search engine optimization (SEO) strategy, SEM/PPC, Social Media, Communities, advertising, compliance and governance
  • Forecast, plan, budget, execute, measure and refine data driven digital marketing campaigns that align with direct and indirect channel go-to-market objectives and achieve aggressive new business pipeline and revenue growth
  • Create and execute a scalable web blueprint for global and vertical market expansion including plans for content localization, site content management, compliance and digital marketing
  • Analyze and report on web traffic, engagement, conversion optimization and other key metrics and work cross functionally to optimize content, tools, site structure and user flows to achieve optimal results and implement solutions to boost performance (including Return on Marketing Investment) of inbound and outbound activities
  • Research and understand the needs of our target audiences and iterate strategies to design web and digital tools and experiences that generate demand and accelerate the buyers journey across multiple buyer personas
  • Select and manage external vendors, agencies, and cross functional teams involved with designing and developing the global web properties and related content, products and tools
  • Document Digital and Web strategies, architecture, infrastructure and security processes and compliance policies, and communicate these with stakeholders
  • Continually evaluate technologies, strategies, and integration opportunities and drive improvements that further engage and convert Web visitors
  • Proven success collaborating with cross-functional marketing, partner and talent acquisition teams to execute, and measure digital and web elements of closed-loop integrated marketing programs that create a sense of urgency for the buyer and deliver significant pipeline volume and revenue growth for the company

What you'll bring to the table...

  • 10 years designing and developing multi-national websites and at least 4 years years leading a team of digital marketers and web developers preferably at a SaaS company
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information technology or related discipline
  • Experience leading a major site re-design
  • Solid understanding and experience procuring and leading implementation of 3rd party CMS systems, web analytics, social media, and community technology and integration with marketing automation (Marketo), CRM and Partner resource management systems
  • An understanding of all aspects of Website management and optimization, including information architecture, UX/UI, working knowledge of HTML and CSS, quality control, digital content development, conversion optimization, A/B and multivariate testing, SEO/SEM and analytics
  • Proficient at journey mapping, content localization, and tailoring strategies to reach and appeal to specific personas and audience segments in the B2B space both enterprise and SMB
  • Experience in a startup or emerging growth technology company delivering disruptive solutions to Fortune 2000 companies is a plus
  • Organized with strong time management, project management and prioritization skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and high-quality standards
  • Results focused, hands-on self-starter, with a growth mindset, “win as a team” mentality and willing to innovate to find a better way
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, innovation, market disruption
  • Critical thinker and problem-solver who is agile, adapts to rapidly changing high growth environments, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines while juggling multiple deliverables
