What you'll be doing...

Proposals, including security and privacy requests:  

  • Build and maintain database of proposal responses
  • Identify subject matter experts to support proposal process and create SLAs  
  • Standardize the proposal process with SMEs and Sales leads
  • Create first draft of all proposals based on database of responses
  • Maintain queue and prioritize requests
  • Analyze proposal requests and report based on volume, region, industry, pipeline contribution, etc.  

Deal Desk:

  • Serve as a trusted partner to Sales on deals, including quoting, pricing, products and business terms
  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Legal, and management during contracting; manage and prioritize deal queue
  • Act as a sales advocate and partner to internal organizations, including Finance, Legal and Product
  • Support closing process including assisting with signature routing, documenting contract terms in SFDC and handing off key information to Finance for invoicing
  • Partner with legal team to craft and manage pre-approved terms
  • Work with Sales Ops to migrate pricing, quoting and approval automation into SFDC
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to develop and deliver product-related pricing and deal process information to the sales organization
  • Perform deal data and deal flow analysis to assess deal desk performance, guide metrics used to manage service level expectations with sales and customers

What you'll being to the table...

  • Exemplary organizational skills including accuracy, timeliness and detail oriented
  • Outstanding writing and editing skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure managing multiple activities and meeting established goals in a deadline driven environment
  • Extensive experience in document formatting tools including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat); proposal database tools preferred 
  • Excellent cross functional and executive level communication skills
  • At least 2 years of experience in professional work experience in proposal development, preferably in SaaS and/or enterprise software
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software, with a heavy emphasis on enterprise technology
  • Self-starter
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
