Product Marketing Director – Vancouver, Canada or Remote

Visier is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Director to develop thought leadership and market education marketing programs that drive sales opportunities and grow revenue for Visier’s award-winning cloud-based Workforce Intelligence solutions.

At Visier, we are reinventing the Business Intelligence industry with Applied Business Analytics solutions that work “out-of-the-box” for our customers. A highly successful start up, in only a few years on market our solutions for workforce analytics and planning have been chosen by over one hundred enterprise customers, including many top brands. To accelerate this momentum, we are looking for a brilliant product marketer who not only is a messaging master, but also has the skills of an entrepreneur, strategist, marketing visionary, and cross-functional team leader.

Reporting to the VP, Marketing, you’ll drive the overall success of our Workforce Intelligence product marketing program. You’ll coordinate across a diverse, cross-functional team. You’ll be the authority on positioning our products and driving the deliverables that are essential to the success of the business. From positioning and messaging to analyst relations to competitive analysis to authoring papers, blogs, and other content, you are an expert in content marketing and will conceive innovative marketing programs that drive demand, help shape the voice of the product, and grow a loyal customer base.  

You can work remotely, or from our Vancouver or San Jose offices.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be the expert on our buyers, why they buy, and their buying criteria
  • Be the expert on our competition and how we differentiate
  • Develop and evangelize product positioning, messaging, and value proposition that differentiates and drives demand for our new and disruptive solutions
  • Build compelling content that excites, inspires, and compels market adoption
  • Develop a clear and effective product marketing plan and drive its execution through collaboration with the Marketing team
  • Master analyst relations, increasing understanding of our disruptive solutions and helping to shape our category
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement to enable the sales channel
  • Work with a cross-functional team to launch new products and releases
  • Collaborate on the use of Social Media and PR to drive awareness and demand, and foster customer communities

Qualifications & Core Competencies


  • 5+ years product marketing experience, in a B2B technology/software environment
  • University degree
  • Experience marketing cloud software to business buyers
  • Experience in analytics, planning or human capital management
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating writing and thought leadership experience
  • Some travel required
  • Experience with sales and marketing automation, preferably SalesForce and Marketo
