We are looking for a strong leader for our Customer Education team to help us build, grow, manage and deliver the best training programs for our customers. You will work in a skilled and specialized department dedicated to enabling our customers to use, adopt and get value from our solution. Working closely with the overall Customer Success organization, you will develop and provide world class training programs to our growing customer base.

What you'll be doing...

  • Lead, guide and coach our Customer Education team and contribute to the overall evolution of the Customer Success department
  • Provide strategic direction and solutions that deliver effective training programs that take a balanced view of Visier’s immediate and long term objectives
  • Build and adapt the team to meet the needs of our growing customer base – this means work intake & resource monitoring, hiring & developing people, etc.
  • Help define project schedules and oversee the timeliness, quality and effectiveness of training
  • Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of processes on how we create, maintain and deliver training to customers
  • Consult with and advise your team on the concept for a course or curriculum, the course medium, content delivery, assessments, accompanying materials, and complementary learning approaches
  • Roll your sleeves up and get involved tactically as needed, to gain insight into the best training content, approaches and delivery methods:
    • Quickly synthesize and write course content based on input from subject matter experts, written material, previous training courses, interviews, etc.
    • Facilitate instructor-led trainings through multiple mediums including virtual and in-person, and perform Train-The-Trainer sessions
  • Look beyond the standard solutions to produce innovative concepts or ideas
  • Leverage industry best practices and reporting to measure training effectiveness and impacts

Education & Experience

  • 7 – 10  years of experience leading a Learning and Development team or function
  • Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and foster trusted relationships with key stakeholders across internal teams and with our customers
  • Proven experience with leading a successful and high performing team
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an instructional design or education
  • Experience developing and conducting training (ideally customer facing, corporate or professional development in the tech industry)
  • Experience managing learning projects, implementing and scaling for-fee training programs
  • Experience with scaling training teams globally (localization of training materials) is an asset
  • Understanding of one or more of Human Resources, business analytics, or workforce analytics
  • Proficiency with various authoring tools (i.e. MS Office, Storyline/Articulate, Camtasia, Photoshop, Audacity)
