Visier Names Steve Bamberger Chief Revenue Officer

San Francisco, CA |

Visier, the innovation leader in workforce analytics, today announced that Steve Bamberger has joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer, reporting to CEO John Schwarz. Bamberger comes to Visier with twenty-two years of enterprise software experience and will lead Visier’s sales and business development functions.

The appointment of Bamberger to the role of Chief Revenue Officer at Visier coincides with the closing of its series B funding in the amount of $15 million, announced last week. The funds were raised in part to enable expansion of the company’s sales and marketing organization. Details of the funding announcement can be found here.

“At Visier, we are committed to making our customers successful at transforming their business through deep insight into their people,” said John Schwarz, Chief Executive Officer, Visier. “Steve shares this commitment and we are delighted to have him join our team.”

“Business executives need insight, not infrastructure,” said Steve Bamberger, Chief Revenue Officer, Visier. “Visier Workforce Analytics provides HR professionals and business leaders with actionable information about their people, presented via a solution that is intuitive and compelling.”

Bamberger comes to Visier from San Jose-based Netformx, where he was chief operating officer for the enterprise technology design leader. Prior to Netformx, Bamberger spent seven years at Oracle, where he was vice president of North America sales for Oracle Communications.

Earlier in his career, Bamberger spent seven years with Accenture, and following that he spent fifteen years with Silicon Valley software companies and held executive positions in sales, marketing, and business development with Clarify (now Amdocs), Cygent (now Convergys), Vitria Technology and Siebel Systems.
